I am a dynamic Information Security Officer with over 8 years
of experience in developing and managing comprehensive security
programs for SaaS companies. In my current role I work closely with our
product, engineering and customer facing teams to enhance internal
controls and address modern security threats.
I come from a background of software development and QA which
gives me a strong understanding of software development life cycle
issues and how to integrate security programs into the development
of new software. I am a firm believer that Security is a shared
responsibility within an organization and am passionate about
engaging in educational opportunities to support this, both internally
and externally with our customer base.
As the ISO for Augmentt I am responcible for building and maintaining our GRC program to ensure compliance with specific standards.

In highschool I had the opportunity to go on a kayak trip in the Broken Group Islands off the coast of Vancouver Island. It was this experience that led to my love of kayaking. In 2012 I took my Assistant Overnight Guide course through SKILLS as a way for me to have the skills to take friends and family members on trips to experience the same incredible opportunity that I had. As a kayak guide I have to pay specific attention to marine regulations, weather, tide and current patterns as well as maintain a safe but fun trip environment.

In 2024 I began training and competing in the Highland Games. It has been a great community to get involved with and it is a great motivator for training. My novice season I placed first in the novice class and I look forward to the 2025 season.

I have always had a passion for cooking starting from an early age. In my teens and early 20s I spent my summers working in commercial kitchens which helped me develop skills for fast paced, close team work, high stress environments. While I have never forgotten those experiences and use the skills I learned working in the kitchen I am glad that I now only have to cook on my own terms for myself and my family.
